Great groundbreaking series -- so-so book. If you were looking for a book that covers the development and production of ROME, this is not it. I was hoping for more insights, but this is basically a coffee table book with lots of photos and little information.

The DVD sets of both series provide a wealth of this material -- wish this did too/5. Find book reviews, essays, best-seller lists and news from The New York Times Book Review.
